We are excited to be opening up our invisible gates for these 2.5 hour professional visit sessions for those interested in a nature-based play pedagogy.
These relaxed sessions will start with an introduction to Scotland’s first care inspectorate registered, fully outdoor nursery. We will share our story so far, tell you about our unique ethos and what shapes our approach. We will also share our experiences over the past 18 years of the honest realities of working outdoors.
You will have the opportunity to be guided around our inspiring woodland setting, to observe the children playing, and to experience our unique approach in practice.
There will also be time dedicated at the end of the session to ask questions, discuss practice and share ideas with each other.
The sessions run from 11.30am to 2pm and cost £35 per participant.
Discounts may be available for groups of attendees, and there may be the opportunity to organise separate sessions just for your setting – please get in touch if this would be of interest.
If you are intrigued by what you hear and see and our visitor session, or already know you are ready to delve deep into the Secret Garden ethos and practice, we will also be holding our flagship In the Woods Workshops in early 2027.
