Information Evening – Tues 26th March

The Secret Garden Outdoor Nursery warmly invites you to an information evening at our office base in Volunteer House, Cupar between 7pm and 9pm on Tuesday the 26th of March.

If you are a parent or carer, and are curious to learn more about our pioneering and award winning nursery, which is based in Letham woods, only five miles from Cupar, then why not pop along and join us for a cup of tea and a chat. Our staff will be on hand to answer questions, and we will have displays, photographs, literature (and hopefully a short film too!) to give you an insight into the unique and wonderful experience we provide for pre-school aged children. We’ll also have some current parents along on the evening to provide a real feel into what it’s like having a child at the Secret Garden. We welcome children from the age of three, and enrol throughout the year. We accept Council pre-school funding and childcare vouchers.

Please contact the office on if you have any questions about the evening.

This is a free, drop-in event, so please do come along and say hello!

Fun Day – Sunday 2nd September

The date has been set for our first Fun Day! Join us at the nursery site in Letham Woods, just outside Cupar, for a day of family adventures and activities. The day is set to run from 1100 – 1400 up in the woods, with parking available at the village hall on the left just as you enter the village.

Bring along a picnic lunch, appropriate footwear, warm clothing some pennies to spend and a sense of adventure! There will be treasure hunts, den building, crafts, story telling, cakes, a bike powered smoothie maker, raffle and so much more – plus lots of  lovely people to talk to and information about the nursery.

As a social enterprise the Secret Garden is a not-for profit organisation and we hope the summer fun day will become an annual event to help boost nursery funds. The resource fund goes towards the general upkeep of our site including managing the wonderful woods, taking care of our cosy yurt, repairs/upgrades for outbuildings like our compost loo, replacing gardening tools and a few other general resources.

The event is open to all so pop the date in your diary and tell your friends. If you can let us know you are intending to come that would be helpful (but not essential). We have an event on Facebook where you can find out more and ‘sign up‘ to coming.

We hope to see you in the woods on the 2nd!

The SG Team 🙂
